Accuracy comes first
Every word we list is present in at least one of the three published lexicons documented on our dictionaries page. We do not invent entries, we do not pad lists with proper nouns or abbreviations to inflate counts, and we never claim a page contains words it does not display.
We show the whole answer
Word lists render in full in the page itself. Nothing is hidden behind a click, an interstitial, a paywall, or a script that has to run before you can read it. If a letter set produces no valid words, we say so plainly instead of showing an empty box.
Sourcing and citation
Lexicon claims are attributed to the body that publishes them — NASPA for TWL, Collins for SOWPODS, the public-domain ENABLE list for Words With Friends compatibility. Rules claims about Scrabble, Wordle, Boggle or Words With Friends reflect each game's current official rules at the review date shown on the page.
Use of AI
We do not publish machine-generated articles. AI tools may assist with drafting or copy-editing, but every guide is written from real play experience and reviewed by a human before publication. Word lists themselves are algorithmic, not generative — they come from a fixed dictionary, never from a language model.
Advertising independence
DoUnscrambler is funded by display advertising. Advertisers do not review content before publication and have no influence over word lists, scoring, guide recommendations, or which tools we build. We do not accept paid guest posts, paid links, or sponsored placements inside word lists.
Corrections
Send corrections to hello@dounscrambler.com. Dictionary corrections are verified against the source lexicon and applied in the next refresh. Substantive corrections to a guide are noted on the page with the date of the change; we do not silently rewrite published claims.
Update cadence
- Word pages — regenerated every 24 hours.
- Daily puzzle helpers — refreshed each day.
- Dictionary — refreshed in bulk; the current date is stamped on every word page.
- Guides — reviewed at least annually, with the review date shown.
Privacy and children
The tools need no account and we do not ask for personal data to use them. See the privacy policy for what is collected and why.
