By using DoUnscrambler you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What we provide

Free reference tools that return valid words for a given set of letters, together with guides about word games. The service is provided as-is, without warranty of availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Dictionary accuracy

Our word lists are compiled from published lexicons, which are themselves revised over time and which disagree with one another. A word shown as valid here may still be rejected by your game if that game uses a different lexicon. See the dictionaries page. We make no guarantee that any particular word will be accepted in any particular game or tournament.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other users.
• Do not attempt to access administrative areas or bypass access controls.
• Do not republish our compiled dictionary in bulk as a competing dataset without written permission.
• Do not use the tools to cheat in a setting where doing so breaks that setting's rules — tournament play, for example.

Reasonable personal, educational and casual-play use is expressly welcome, and no attribution is required for that.

Intellectual property

Site design, guide text, and our compiled and annotated dictionary are the property of DoUnscrambler. Individual English words are not owned by anyone. Underlying source lexicons remain the property of their respective publishers.

Trademarks

Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordle, Boggle, Quordle, Word Cookies and Wordfeud are trademarks of their respective owners. DoUnscrambler is an independent reference tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Trademarks are used descriptively to identify the games our tools help with.

Advertising

The site is supported by third-party advertising. We do not control advertiser content and are not responsible for goods or services advertised. See the privacy policy for the data involved.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoUnscrambler is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including any loss of a game, score, or competition. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
